LarryMcGee has been named Cortez market president for Four Corners Community Bank. The operational conversion of Citizens systems to Four Corners systems is projected to take place in February 2014. Four Corners Community Bank, Founded in 2000, serves San Juan and Monte - zuma counties in NM and CO with seven locations; 500 W. Main St., 2811 E. 20th St., and 5900 E. Main St. in Farmington; 1301 W. Aztec Blvd. in Aztec; and 77 W. Main St, 343 E. Main St., and 1835 E. Main St. in Cortez, CO. Washington Federal Set to Take Over 11 BofA Branches Washington Federal, Seattle, WA, said November 6 that it was taking over 51 Bank of America branches in four states including 11 in NM, on December 6 converting them to Washington Federal branches. Washington Federal said in September 2013 that it had received approval from the OCC to acquire the 51 BofA branches in WA, ID, OR, and NM, which had $1.8 billion in deposits and $11 million in loans. The deal was announced July 18. The transaction closed at midnight Friday, December 6, said Cathy Cooper, a spokeswoman for Washington Federal. The branches closed that day at 12 noon and reopened as Washington Federal on Monday, December 9. The 11 BofA NM branches include one each in Angel Fire, Cha - ma, Espanola, Hobbs, Raton, Roswell, and Socorro, and two each in Clovis and Silver City. n Obituary Fidel Lee Gutierrez of Santa Fe, NM passed away peacefully on his birthday, November 3, 2013 in his home after a short, but cou - rageous battle with cancer. He was born in Las Cruces, NM on No - vember 3, 1962. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1980. After attending UNM and UCLA, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University in 1985. Fidel held numerous positions in his 26 years with Los Alamos National Bank, the last several years as Senior Vice President. He was very active within the Santa Fe community and served as a member and officer of several boards and committees, including: Girls, Inc., Santa Fe Children’s Museum, First Tee of New Mexico, Lensic Performing Arts Center, Life Center Foundation, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, Santa Fe International Folk Art Market, City of Santa Fe Economic Development Review Committee, Tierra Contenta Corporation, and numerous others. A Rosary andMemorial Service was held on Thursday, November 7, and the Funeral Mass took place at St. Francis Basilica on Friday November 8, 2013. n (CRMA) and Certified TG-3 Auditor (CTGA). Beck will practice primarily in complex and commercial litigation and the employment and labor law practice groups. He previously worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James O.
