The announcement was made by Jeff Howle, President/ CEO of Citizens Bankshares Inc. Citizens Bank, along with Citizens Trust and Investment Corporation, are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Citizens Bankshares, Inc. Beyhan, a San Juan County native, has over 30 years of banking experience, the last 12 years with Citizens Bank. He is a graduate of Western New Mexico Univer- sity and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder. In addition to his responsibilities at the bank, Beyhan serves on the boards for several charitable organiza- tions in the community. Howle will remain as CEO of Citizens Bank and Presi- dent/CEO of Citizens Bankshares until his retirement at year end 2017. He will continue to serve on the boards of directors after his retirement from the day to day op- erations of the bank and the other companies. n McGee Returns to Four Corners Bank as Lender Longtime Cortez, CO, resident Larry McGee has rejoined Farmington-based Four Corners Community Banks as a commercial and ag loan officer. McGee has over 38 years of lending experience. He was previously vice president and loan officer with American AgCredit. “Starting in Mancos in 1880, my family has farmed, ranched, and traded in all Four Corners,” said McGee. “This area is our home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the agricultures community and commercial operators in Southwest Colorado.” Originally from Farmington, McGee received a BA degree in agriculture economics and finance from Kansa State University. He is an accredited member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. n Cordero Upped to EVP, Southwest Capital Bank, Albuquerque Southwest Capital Bank in Albuquerque has an- nounced the promotion of Senior Vice President Arel- lana Cordero to executive vice president. Cordero will continue to serve as CFO for the bank. Cordero will lead the bank’s financial team and will be responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting operations. She joined the bank in November 2014 as SVP and CFO. Cordero is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Gradu- ate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylva- nia-The Wharton School. She earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the University of New Mexico. n Martinez to Lead Los Alamos, NM, Market Los Alamos National Bank, Los Alamos, NM, has named Liddie Martinez market president in Los Alamos. Martinez brings over 20 years of economic development experience and will lead the bank’s efforts to drive economic growth in the Los Alamos market. Most recently, Martinez was executive director of the Regional Development Corporation for Northern New Mexico. She previously served as division director of Community & Economic Development for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). She has a passion for volunteerism and community outreach. She served as board president for the LANL Foundation and Leadership New Mexico and currently serves on the boards for the LANL Subcontractor Consortium, Think New Mexico, New Mexico Economic Development Rural Council, Northern New Mexico College Foundation, and the Los Alamos Commerce and Development. Los Alamos National Bank is one of the largest locally- owned community banks in NM with assets of more than $1.4 billion and over 300 employees. n VanArsdel Is SVP, NM B&T in Santa Fe New Mexico Bank & Trust’s wealth advisory services has welcomed Elizabeth VanArsdel, CTFA, as senior vice president and senior wealth advisor in Santa Fe. Van Arsdel has 25 years of banking and investment management experience. She served nine years with Pacific Coast Bankers Bank and worked in the trust di- visions of Bank of Santa Fe and Century Bank. She is an honors graduate of Cannon Trust School and received her CTFA in 2003. She earned a BA degree from The University of Texas and a master of music de- gree from Manhattan School of Music in NYC. n Austin is EVP, Southwest Capital, Albuquerque Jessica Austin has joined Southwest Capital Bank in Albuquerque, as executive vice president and chief lending officer. She serves at the main office at 1410 Central Ave., SW. Prior to joining Southwest Capital, she served as a vice president and commercial real estate loan officer for more than seven years at Bank of Albuquerque. She joined the bank in 2009 as a credit specialist and later served two years as an assistant vice president and com- mercial real estate loan officer. Austin holds a BBA degree in marketing and an MBA degree in finance from the University of New Mexico. n
