Kelsey has over 30 years of financial services experience. Most recently, she served as the assistant vice president and branch manager for U.S. Bank in Albuquerque and earlier held various positions at both community banks and credit unions. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and the Western States School of Banking. Kelsey has been involved with numerous community organizations, including: Northwest Fair Housing Alliance board member serving the Inland Northwest; president of the Financial Literacy Foundation and advisory council member for the Prosthetic Outreach Foundation, now called Mobility International, Seattle, WA. She has been active as Rotarian since 1996 in Washington State and Albuquerque. Cory Named President/CEO, Western Heritage Veteran banker and former Ruidoso village executive and community leader Gregory L. Cory has been named president/CEO of Western Heritage Bank in Las Cruces. Cory has 36-year banking career which began in his hometown of Lordsburg as a high school student when he worked at Western Bank. He later served at Western Bank in Las Cruces and continued his career at Montwood National Bank and Valley Bancorp Inc. He served from 1999-2001 as EVP and chief credit officer at State National Bank in El Paso and from 2001-2997 as community president of State National in Ruidoso and Alamogordo. In 2008, he joined Southwest Securities, FSB, as president of a new banking center in Ruidoso to serve the Southern NM market. Cory has been active in Ruidoso community and civic affairs, including serving as school board president. He is a graduate of the BBVA USA School of Management. Cory has relocated to El Paso where he will direct Western’s expansion. Century Taps Maxwell in Santa Fe, Williams in Albuquerque Century Bank, Santa Fe, reported Shannon Maxwell has joined as assistant vice president and branch manager at the downtown Santa Fe office. Maxwell, a native of Santa Fe, has over 25 years of banking industry experience. Her service includes positions in trust, asset management, private banking and retail banking. Century also reported that Jim Williams has joined as mortgage loan production manager for Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. He has more than 30 years of experience in residential and commercial lending. McEntire Returns to Bank 34, Mortgage Lender, Las Cruces Bank 34, Las Cruces, has announced the return of Shelly Jett McEntire to Bank 34 to their mortgage department, reported senior vice president and director of residential mortgage lending, Jim Lyddon. McEntire officially re-joined in December 2016 as a mortgage loan originator. She has over 30 years of experience in the industry. McEntire served as a mortgage loan originator for Bank 34 previously from 2008 to 2010, and has worked in mortgage lending in Las Cruces for the past 17 years. Previously, she worked in Alamogordo in various positions in the banking industry. Dion Kidd-Johnson Appointed to CFPB Community Bank Council The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently announced the appointment of Dion Kidd-Johnson, President and Chief Operating Officer, Western Bank, Alamogordo, to the Community Bank Advisory Council.
