Dolan has more than 30 years of financial management experience. He joined Los Alamos National Bank as se- nior financial officer in April 2017 and was appointed CFO of the bank June 19. “Tom is a great addition to LANB. He brings valued expertise. His experience and enthusiasm for banking align with our mission to improve the lives of our cus- tomers and employees and enhance the communities we serve. We are excited to welcome him to our team to guide us toward a positive and profitable future,” LANB President/CEO John Gulas said. Dolan has held various positions over the years. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Anchor Bank in Madison, WI, and its successor, Old National Bank. He is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and received an MBA degree in finance from the University of Chicago. Villa Named Market President, Las Cruces Western Heritage Bank, Las Cruces, NM, has an- nounced that Henry Villa has been promoted to market president for Las Cruces. Villa joined Western Heritage in July 2016 as a vice president and commercial loan officer, Greg Cory, president/CEO of Western Heritage, made the announcement. Cory said about Villa, “His experience with commercial and consumer lending in this region is unmatched.” Villa attended the University of Texas at El Paso and began his banking career in 1975 at El Paso National Bank. In 1997, he made a move to State National Bank of West Texas, now known as BBVA Compass, as a consum- er lending officer. In 2008, he was relocated to Ruidoso, NM, to serve as city president. In 2009, he transferred to El Paso to serve as a business banking officer. Western Heritage Bank currently operates locations in Las Cruces and Deming, NM, and will open a location in El Paso, TX, in 2017. Atkins, Oswalt, and Bond Appointed to Board of Directors for First National Bank in Alamogordo Steve Muell, president/CEO of First National Bank, Al- amogordo, has announced that its board of directors re- cently appointed three new members. Allisandra “Ali” Atkins is a CPA with the firm of RPC CPAs + Consultants, LLP, a position she has held since January 2010. She formerly worked as a revenue agent for the IRS in its Austin, TX office. She earned a mas- ter’s degree in accounting with a concentration in tax- ation from the University of New Mexico in 2007. She serves as an Ambassador for the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce. Patrick Bond is the president, founder and owner of Stone Crafters, LLC, a firm that manufactures veneer stoner products for use in residential and commercial projects. The company is based in Alamogordo and serves all of New Mexico, southern Colorado, and west Texas. Prior to joining Stone Crafters, Bond was general manager and then president of Scott DC Power Products. A lifelong resident of the Alamogordo area, he is an active member of the Alamogordo Rotary Club. Shawn Oswalt is broker/co-owner of ERA Simmons Real Estate. A long time Alamogordo resident, he is a U.S. Navy veteran and previously worked for Rowland Ventures developing high speed internet systems for ca- ble companies nationwide. He began his real estate ca- reer in 2006, and in 2015, he was awarded ERA’s Leaders Circle, which recognizes the top five percent of brokers and agents in the nation. In 2016, he was ranked as the number 18 broker for ERA nationally out of nearly 700 brokers. Active in the community, he has participated in the Lions Club, the Committee of 50, the Forum, the chamber of commerce, and other philanthropic organi- zations. First National Bank is a full-service community bank headquartered in Alamogordo, serving families, busi- nesses, and military service members throughout Otero, Lincoln and Eddy counties. Chaffin and Cook Join Four Corners Community Bank Four Corners Community Bank (FCCB), Farmington, recently announced two longtime Cortez residents have joined its team: Marsha Chaffin, formerly of First Nation- al Bank, Cortez, and Jackie Cook, formerly of Community Banks of Colorado, Cortez branch. President/CEO Sheila Mathews made the announcement. Chaffin has 25 years of banking experience, primarily in operations and compliance. She is a graduate of the Western States School of Banking, a certified BSA profes- sional, and holds bank operations and general banking diplomas from the American Bankers Association. She has lived in Montezuma County for 40 years, her family homesteaded in the area over 100 years ago. Cook began her banking career in 1987 the Dove Creek and Cortez areas. Aside from performing all teller func- tions, she has experience in new accounts, bookkeeping, and loans. She became a part of the FCCB team when FCCB acquired the Community Banks’ deposit accounts of the Cortez locations in May 2017.
